The HKU AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) Lab, directed by Dr. Chenshu Wu, is part of the CS Department at the University of Hong Kong. We conduct world-class research on AIoT systems to advance the perception and interaction between humans, machines, and environments. Our work identifies systems-level solutions for intelligent sensing, tracking, and interaction for interdisciplinary AIoT applications. The vision is to equip IoT devices with ubiquitous AI in smart health, homes, buildings, cars, cities, and beyond, promising a smarter space for a smarter life.
We believe real impacts only come when technologies are adopted, and we have worked on projects that bring cutting-edge research ideas to mainstream practice and life-changing products. Working with Origin Wireless Inc., a Wireless AI company, our research in WiFi sensing has been commercialized as awarding-winning products, such as:
We are actively looking for strongly dedicated and self-motivated students to join us to work on exciting AIoT projects. Multiple positions are immediately available (to start in September 2021 or January 2022). We may have positions for visiting students and postdocs as well.
